The 87th Texas Legislative Session: The session is underway. To follow when the House and Senate are in session, click here. By clicking that link, you'll also be able to see legislation that is filed, Members, and committee assignments. The Texas House and Texas Senate both stand adjourned until Tuesday, February 9th. The House convenes at 2:00 pm, and the Senate convenes at 3:00 pm. We expect committee assignments soon. 

Dallas County Municipal Elections: The Municipal Elections are coming up in May, with Early Voting beginning in April. You can find out more about the City of Dallas elections by clicking here. Once the filing is completed, we'll let you know who runs in these non-partisan elections that have Republican Primary history. The filing deadline is February 12th at 5:00 pm. Joint Get Out The Vaccine (GOTV) Campaign With The Dallas Democratic Party: Our Chairman, Rodney Anderson, has agreed to join with the Dallas Democratic Party to get those 75 years of age and older in 11 zip-codes laid out by Commissioner J.J. Koch registered for the Covid-19 Vaccine. Will Busby, Director of Development and Communications, is working out the details and will soon update how you can be involved. This is about putting community over party, and we're excited for the opportunity to be part of this.
