Description:

Empowering 9th Grade Physics Teachers: A Modeling Instruction Workshop

This summer, revolutionize your approach to 9th-grade physics with our comprehensive two-week workshop on Modeling Instruction. From June 16th to June 27th (8 am-3 pm daily, excluding June 19th), you'll immerse yourself in the modeling curriculum, gaining practical experience and pedagogical insights. Led by expert Jess Dykes, this workshop will guide you through the core principles of modeling, including:

  • Developing student-centered learning environments

  • Utilizing whiteboarding and collaborative problem-solving

  • Constructing, evaluating, and applying scientific models
