Webinar Series: Climate Reality Project with Frank Lock Please join us on October 6, 2021 for another episode of AMTA's Webinar Series: Climate Reality Project with Frank Lock. This webinar will start at 9 pm EST to better accommodate our West-coast people! Frank Lock is a modeling workshop facilitator. He taught chemistry, physics and astronomy at Lemon Bay H.S. in Englewood, Florida from 1980 through 2009. In 2003, he received the Distinguished Service Award from the Florida Section of AAPT. He was president of the Florida Section-AAPT from 2004 – 2006. In 2005 he was selected as Charlotte County Schools 2005 Teacher of the Year. Frank retired in 2009, and relocated to Gainesville, Georgia. From 2014 through 2018, he worked part-time as the PhysTEC Teacher in Residence in the Georgia State physics and astronomy department. In March, 2019, he participated in a Climate Reality Project conference and became a Climate Reality Project Leader. He has made numerous climate crisis presentations to teachers and students since then. |
