This may have been coincidence, but I thought I would post to see if anyone else has encountered this.

I have a parsley plant that has been growing in a pot for about 3 years. This spring, it was doing great. It was a beautiful green, and very full. It was truly thriving. A couple of weeks ago, I had some Garrett Juice left over from an application to my vegetable garden, so I thought I would use the rest on some of my ornamentals. I sprayed all sorts of plants with it, and it was diluted to the proper ratio. However, within 2 days, the parsley turned yellow, then brown, layed down and died! I have used Garrett Juice for years and have had nothing but great results.

Has anyone else ever had it kill parsley?

Have not heard of this before. Need to run some tests on parsley. Were any other plants burned? Any chance there was a concentration of vinegar or other ingredient?

Thanks for the reply. The only thing in the sprayer was Garrett Juice mixed at the appropriate ratio. I also spray a fish emulsion/liquid seaweed mix out of that same sprayer about once a week but rinse it out pretty well after each application. Nothing else has ever been sprayed through that sprayer. All other plants were great after the Garrett Juice (salvia, columbines, cyclamen, mums, hibiscus, lavender, vegetable garden, petunias, and many others). I have been using organic foliar sprays like this for years and have never seen any plant damaged. This is why I thought it may be coincidental that the parsley died, but that would be pretty strange that it happened to die immediately after a Garrett Juice application while looking so vibrant.

Anyway, thanks again for the reply.

I have recently used GJ on my parsley with no ill effect.
