Garrett Juice Plus, Nature's Guide Liquid Fish & Seaweed, Medina Plus, and Nature's Creation Organic foliar feed all seem to promote the same benefits for foliar feeding. How do you determine which is the best to use w/out buying all of them and testing? Has anyone had any experience using these products? How do you know if a product is simply snake oil or actually legitimate?

I guess I have used all these products as much as anyone. They all work. So does compost tea and many other commercial products. My favorite won't surprise you I'm sure but the latest formula of Garrett Juice that contains liquid fish seems to be be most effective in several ways. Some of the things it's good at we didn't even understand early on. We originally looked at the mix only as a foliar feeding product. The formula was developed over years of testing different ingredients and mixtures. Later one of the Groung Crew mentioned success using it to drench the roots of plants and sure enough it makes a terrific root stimulator and soil fertilizer. Some use it exclusively as their only fertilizer. Next, a garden shop manager in Houston told me that in all his years managing plants at the nursery, he had never used a product that brought his flowering plants into bloom more effectively. It's amazing what you can learn if you jst stay open minded and pay attention to Nature. Mike Amaranthus, the mycorrhizal fungi expert, taught me that the mix of ingredients was great food for both the fungi and bacteria in the soil. Dr. Mike also convinced me that the decision to add the fish would make the formula even better because the fungi like it so much. Hope that helps.
