Post subject:  Large Garden Grubs

I live in the south eastern part of the US and have recently discovered that my raised vegetable beds have very large grubs in them. I did some research on the web and believe they may be June bug grubs but am not really sure. I am wanting to plant my fall garden soon and was wondering if anyone knows of a natural way to get rid of them besides digging them up, which I've done a good bit of already.
:) Thanks :)

If you did down a few inches and about a foot square and see more than 5 grubs, then you should treat with beneficial nematodes. They will naturally balance out grubs, ants and any other pest that has part of its life cycle in the soil. If you see less than 5 that's not an over population. You will never be completely rid of grubs. Unless it's over populated, you should not see damage from them.

Thanks so much Sandi! I had read about the nematodes on the web and thought that may be one of the options I'd consider trying.
