I introduced many people to Blueberry Hill Farm last year in an article I wrote for Howard's newsletter. It is a certified Organic blueberry farm about a 90 minute drive from Dallas. Jill and Jerry Graves are the owners, very nice people. Unfortunately, his blueberries suffered the same fate as my peaches and plums, Frosty got them. He thought the second variety which comes in a little later would produce but it didn't happen. Jerry asked me to pass the word around to avoid some disappointed travelers. Does anyone know of a farm near Dallas that has blueberries? I'm to a point now where I can't expect organic but that would be nice. Tony M |

Pearce & Ann Bailey Bailey's Berry Patch 905 Crawford Road Sadler, Tx 76264 (903) 564-6228 info@TxBerry.com Bailey's Berry Patch is located halfway between Gainesville, Texas and Sherman, Texas, 12 miles south of the Oklahoma border and is easily accessible from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area as well as all of Southern Oklahoma. The Berry Patch consists of 6 acres of blueberries and 3 acres of blackberries with over 6 miles of drip irrigation. You will find 4 varieties of blueberries and 4 varieties of blackberries. You will appreciate the fact that only 2 varieties of blackberries have thorns. Of course, those varieties produce berries the size of bantam chicken eggs that are beautiful, as well as juicy. |
