I see some good fall colors already. Yellows of the elms, pecans, willows, hackberry, bois arc, reds from the shumard oaks, pears, Texas ash, crape myrtles. Even some post oaks have "joined in" this month with rusty brownish red. I saw for the first time of Texas ash in fall color. They really can blaze! Any changes from y'alls places? Tree Dude |

Ya mean like this? No, this is not Colorado, it's right next to my house in McKinney, TX. There was no sun out that day or else the colors would have been more stunning. I will go back when the sun comes out, hope the color is still there. Tony M |

Yep, something like that, except in Fort Worth. The photo looks as good as DD's photos of Maine. |

That is good color. Arborist Sandy Rose and I had a tree road trip today in Fort Worth and there was some very nice color including a pecan at the Botanical Gardens that was brillant yellow. I almost bet Sandy that it was a Texas ash. This may be a good year to get folks interested in Texas ash because they are coloring up beautifully. |

I just was at the Gardens today. Most trees are still green. I did saw that pecan tree. Tree Dude |
