I noticed yesterday that I have some yellow spots on my leaves and some of the yellow spots have brown in the center. I haven't had a chance to check all the trees but I would imagine it is happening on others.

- Any ideas what this is?
- Any suggested tree specialists

Can you post an image of the leaf? Where are you located?

Oh sorry, I meant to do this. Had a picture sitting in my phone and forgot.

Additional info:
-this is occuring on some lower hanging skinny branches. The lowest portion is probably only 4' off the ground. It does need to be thinned out, but this spring it didn't look like I would have an issue with low hanging branches.
-It doesn't appear that the higher limbs have this, but my fear is it spreading.
-We have other pecans in the back yard (former orchard) and I'm not seeing this issue. Seems to be isolated.

Location:
NW Fort Worth very close to Eagle Mtn Lake.
Thanks,
JP

This is probably more cosmetic that serious. It could be fungal spots and there are several organic sprays that would work but it might not be worth the trouble. Has it gotten worse since your post?

Thanks for the assurance. I haven't seen it spreading too much more than the lower hanging branches. I'll keep an eye on it.

I also sent this picture to a local arborist to see if I needed to do anything. This arborist treats several homes with pecan trees in our neighborhood. He said nothing to worry about. So with this and your reply I'll just sit tight. It looks like there will be another good year for our pecans. Plenty of fruit it seems. So I'm feeling relieved.
