I have a newly planted Brandford pear, approximately 6 weeks ago. I am sending an attachment of a picture showing the condition of the leaves. Is it too much water, or not enough water, or something else? All suggestions are greatly appreciated!

How often are you watering it and for how long? |

We were watering it once a week, and were filling the base around the tree and letting it soak in, but we also have a sprinkler system that comes on once a week. We have had some unseasonably hot days and a lot of wind at the end of March and into April. We were concerned that this had affected the tree also. Because of water issues we can only water once a week with our sprinkler system. |

I would get a Gator Bag that holds 15 to 20 gallons of water. Fill it up once a week and it will deliver a slow soak to the root ball. If you're only filling the base up once then you're not watering enough. Also once a month with root stimulator. Do that through summer. |
