--Or the other way around.... My March 2003 Better Homes & Gardens has a picture of one on page 176. It looks as though it has pale pink blooms, but actually has pink-variegated leaves that give the illusion of summerlong blooms. I think this tree would look great around japanese maples in front of the staggered screen of Leyland cypress I want to put along my driveway (to hide neighbor's pink house and parked semi and derelict car!). Will it be happy here in far Van Zandt County, growing in mostly sugar sand (with compost kept on top, of course)??? Can anyone tell me where I can buy them, if they'll work? |

I'd say it's a great big.... maybe. Seriously, it looks like it's good for zones 4-7. Not sure what zone you're in. For inscance, Tarrant and Dallas counties are in Zone 8a. Collin and Denton are 7b. |
