I'm in the market for some Shumard Oaks (7-10 foot).

Where is there a reputable seller in the Metroplex, and what price range should I expect to pay?

Also - Could someone define for me what moderate and fast growing trees are?

Thanks in advance!

Well, where in the petroplex are you?

in the norht half, I know that Shades of Green (in Frisco, north of Plano) is a really good one. Just a bit south of the high five off of central is North Haven gardens, also a good one.

I'd say a fast grower puts on 2+ feet per year in height. Moderate would be 12-18 inches.
