I wish to know where I can find a q. graciliformis (not q. emori) oak tree like the one featured on page 135 of Garrett's Plants For Texas book. Also what it's soil/water/climate exposure needs are, and growth properties. I live in Williamson County, TX and have been trying to find this oak tree. Thanks for your help! Regards, Willa

Welcome to the DDBB

Sorry I don't have the book nor the knowledge for your question.

I'll watch for an answer over in the Tree Forum. I like trees and feel I need to know about this one.

See the heading below on the Graceful Oak. This is obviously a "mystery tree". Please post if you find one.
