I bought a 8 foot ginkgo tree two years ago for $30 ( it was mislabled as an Autumn Gold Maple, but i knew better lol). I was just wondering how to accelerate the growth of this tree. Each year it picks a random branch to grow 6 inches on and thats all it does. It is well mulched, and watered often and the leaves are small to average size but a nice medium green color. I just want to know how to get the "rapid" growth that some sites say is possible. |

I personally wouldn't expect rapid growth out of a Ginkgo. It's not a trash tree. |
