Well we have a Bradford pear tree that is loaded every year. The problem is that they never get soft - hard as rocks. I just leave them hanging and eventually they all off and I use them as bowling balls to roll across the street into a greenbelt. I know that sounds silly but I don't know what to do with them. Do they have to be picked to ripen. Hope someones send me an e-mail to let me know. We live in Lewisville, TX. thanks so much |

Are you sure that it is Bradford pears? It is an ornamental pear. It is NON edible too. You'll get horrible smell when the flowers bloom. Gardening |
