Post subject:  Corn Gluten Meal for toenail fungus?

My dh has toenail fungus as well as fungus between his toes that itches something awful. We tried using just the plain cornmeal from the grocery store and it did not work. I noticed everything from the grocery store says it is dergermermed cornmeal. Today I bought corn gluten meal from the feed store and we are going to give this a try tonight. Is this the right stuff or have I found it yet? None of the feed stores around me carry anything called just plain cornmeal, only corn gluten meal and only a very few of them even have this. I had a hard time finding it. It looks much darker than regular cornmeal....more of a dark yellowy-orangey color and smells like chicken feed! lol I hope this is the right stuff this time and it helps his tootsies. Also, can anyone tell me who you can order this product from. Mine is in a plain brown sack and does not say where this feed store got it from. There is a feed store very close to me that told me if I could find out who produces it, he could order me some. I had to drive a long ways to get this that I have. Thanks so much!

Ck the links above. They should answer all your questions. Good luck! The second link will answer your immediate question, the first one will help you in what to do with the gluten meal.

What you are looking for is Horticultural Cornmeal. My wife and I have used it now off and on for about a month for our feet, as well as mixing it with shampoo to get rid of irritations in the scalp, and my mother -in-law is now using it for dry skin on her hands. It works great! Alliance MillingCompany is the most common horticultural cornmeal I have found and it's relatively cheap. To order some, just go to the links portion of the Dirt Doctor's website and click on some of the garden stores like Green Mama's. Most of them carry it and should be able to help you. :D

Compared to prescription medications, having the Alliance Milling product shipped to you would be a good investment. Since your profile doesn't tell where you are, we can't give you information on any other locations to try and get it. But if you have a really hard time getting the horticultural cornmeal, or feel it is just too expensive, let me pass on some informatin I was given.

I have been told by people who were in your same situation that stone ground cornmeal in the cheapest bag they could find, sometimes from the dollar store, worked for them. Make sure you let the cornmeal soak a while before you soak your feet in it, and soak for as long as you can sit still with your feet in the mix. It's just so great for the skin and it knocks that fungus out.

Hope this helps!

This might sound really weird but if you can stand it ,let your dog lick your toes/foot area,I can say that this really, really works.Your rash/fungus should be gone in a week.Have your dog lick area for about 5-10 minutes,4 times a week.

I've had toenail fungus before. And tropical product ZetaClear not works on me. I'm really disappointed on that time come to think that it's popular but reality.. it's not effective. I've just consulted a doctor and they prescribed me an oil called Fungusil. Quite expensive but i risk it on that time because i really desperate to remove the fungus on my toenail. And thank god, it not disappoint me. Greatly it works on me after using it for about 3 weeks. :)

fyi...

ZetaClear incorporates a top notch reputation - the business which makes it has existed for many years, and has lots of individuals who say it has worked for them.
