Post subject:  Propagating figs from cuttings

I know that figs can be started from cuttings & remember hearing HG talk about this on one of his shows, but don't recall the specifics. Help please! My neighbors have a 40-yr-old tree that is most prolific & have agreed to allow me some cuttings. Sooner the better--Thanks.

8" cuttings taken from terminal growth pretty much anytime will root easily in good organic potting soil. The best time of the year is late winter just before bud break.
