 I'm growing vegetables in large self-watering containers and want to have a fall crop. Which tomatoes are better for fall? Will peppers work too? What others?

I'm new to vegetable gardening and need all the help anyone will offer. :D

When should I plant?

I regret that I did not catch this sooner. It is now spring  and you never received a reply. I apologize. Check out http://www.dirtdoctor.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2739 and http://www.dirtdoctor.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=17.
:!: Oh! I do not suggest self watering containers. If it is the kind I am thinking of (has a tray at the bottom to collect water) it has two things that concern me. Mosquito breeding and root rot. Better to water them yourself. Even better to have them in the ground. You can build or purchase protective materials to keep them from cold.
