Post subject:  Tyler and East Texas Organic gardeners please respond

I have noticed that there are various communities represented in Howard's forums. I would like to find out how many people in the Tyler, Tx area are interested in organic methods. I find it hard to locate many organic products in the area, especially organically grown nursery stock. It would help if the gardeners in this area could communicate easily in a forum such as this.

I would like to do what I can to spark interest in organic methodology, and to bring together gardeners in this area to share ideas, information, sources, and resources. I am also interested in sharing information about native and antique varieties of plants.

Please reply to this post if you are in the Tyler area and are trying to follow organic methods. Let me know what you have found in the area, and if there is something that you have been looking for and have not found.

Post subject:  Sorry, survey expired

Hello Jim,

Thanks for commenting. The survey was set to run for 45 days, I think. It probably expired. I have found a decent place to get a good selection of organic supplies, although they carry the whole gamut of chemical poisons and such, too. At 5520 Old Jacksonville Hwy is a place called Al Horaney's. I have been pleased with their service.

Stephen
