:?: Does anyone know of a 'pick your own' Blackberry farm near Dallas...actually Plano? The only 'B farms' I know of are near the Hill country, or Arkansas. My friend thought this spring she saw a list of local Berry farms in the Dallas Morn. News. I'm sure few if any were truly organic .....but maybe we could recruit them to the 'right' side! Any help would be appreciated.

Bailey's Berry Patch is located halfway between Gainesville, Texas and Sherman, Texas, 12 miles south of the Oklahoma border and is easily accessible from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area as well as all of Southern Oklahoma. The Berry Patch consists of 6 acres of blueberries and 3 acres of blackberries with over 6 miles of drip irrigation. You will find 4 varieties of blueberries and 4 varieties of blackberries. You will appreciate the fact that only 2 varieties of blackberries have thorns. Of course, those varieties produce berries the size of bantam chicken eggs that are beautiful, as well as juicy.
