One of my faults is not always doing what I recommend for other gardeners to do. Here's a case in point. Last year I was too lazy to spray my pomegranate with anything other than Garrett Juice a couple of times. The plant has grown extremely well but the large crop of fruit was almost all destroyed by insects, disease and the hungrey birds and
squirrels.

Well, this year the plant had even more impressive growth but I did one really thorough spraying of the fruit and the entire plant with the commercial product Plant Wash. There was already some fruit drop and considerable cosmetic damage from insects and diseases showing.

As you can see from the attached photos I took today, the fruit production is still excellent. One fruit got tired of waiting on my harvest and broke open to better serve the wildlife. If I had sprayed before the damage started to show, would I have had even less damage and greater production? Don't know but will find out next year.

By the way, the fruit is delicious. I eat seeds and all. And I continue to be very impressed with the Plant Wash product. Adding it to the Garrett juice sprays, especially for food crops susceptable to insect and disease
