Here's a slide show of the recent Ike hurricane damage to the champion tree. Tyson Woods, manager of the company, once again has volunteered to help with the needed tree work. As you can see in the shots, two large limbs came down. The lower one was broken off by the higher limb when it fell. Although the owner, Bill Finch, was upset about the damage, it looks like the tree will be alright for several more generations. |
