I don't think there is a way other than blocking all access in. As small as those cuties are, I doubt that is possible. I suspect those friends will either have to learn to live with them or they'll waste time trying to kill them, because they will continue to come in.
You should point out that the Mediterranean house geckos eat pests such as cockroaches, flies, mosquitoes, and if they don't like spiders, you can add them to the list. Maybe their aversion to cockroaches will lessen the repulsion of the geckos.
They won't see many this time of year - once it's cold those guys disappear.
