The remod contractor was not able to place the condensation line into an existing drain. It was run through PVC to the north side of the house (pier and beam) as a result between the sidewalk that leads from the front of the house to the garage (detached) this area stays wet. The cost to tear out a wall and replace the drain is prohibitive. Does anyone have any suggestions? IE dig out a vertical hole and fill it with an absorbing material, or plant something that could utilize that amount of water. Thanks in advance. Keith - Denison

how about a rain garden?

dig a hole (3' deep or so), fill with rock, top with gravel, plant things that love water.

you will have very interesting plants that no one else is able to grow, and you will promote insoak instead of runoff.
