I'm a 24 year old computer programmer and I'm a few days away from graduating from college. I'm looking forward to spending my non-studying hours in my yard. I've been married for three years to my wife Angela and I have a 2 year old Lab, Korben.

I started shopping at Whole Foods about three years ago and trying to turn my health around with exercise. I started eating right and cooking my meals and the improvement was much more dramatic than any fad diet.

I've started my quest to learn about all things organic and natural. I'm interested in probiotic foods / drinks. I make Kombucha (if you need a kombucha scoby, please let me know). I've made beer and cheese, and I'm going to start looking into pickling. My grandmother used to do these simple healthy things to keep food around year round and I don't want these things to die with them. I think more Americans could learn from their grandparents.

I'm going to start composting classes and I'd like to become a master composter. I'm looking forward to starting a garden and spending more time with my wife.

My dad used to listen to Howard when I was a kid in the car on Sundays. When I started getting into all things organic I rediscovered Howard.

Welcome-

This site is full of useful information, have fun searching.

On the healthy eating front, take a look at the book Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon. Combine her recipes with some of the meat you can find on this site and you will go a long way towards a healthy diet.

And I thought I was the youngest member on the forum. I think I was when I became a member.
You are going to enjoy the forums. Organic gardening is never boring.
