Stopping in to say Hello!
Recently became a member after listening to Howard every Sat. and Sun morning for a few yrs now. I've been working like crazy trying to go the natural way every chance I get to go outside. :D I have a new home, to me anyway, in Wichita Falls, TX North Central Tx, and the yard has been very neglected for approx 15yrs. There are still some bushes and trees that I haven't figured out what they are so are still in place. Working on getting pictures of them so I might find someone that knows what they are and how to care for them. Hoping to learn a lot here for at times I get very discouraged when treating organically only to find I've stirred up another problem. Made them bugs happy with something new and they seem ready to eat everything I don't want them too
Thank You,
dvande

dvande-
Welcome! Great that you have become all 'natural'. You will find just about everything on this forum. If you try to ask questions using the list of categories, you'll find your answers pretty quickly. Most members work, of course, and don't have a chance to log on frequently, so at times there's a delay in responses. Utilize the 'library' that you can access from the home page and also it's helpful to do a 'search' at the top of the forum & read everything that's been posted on the topic you want info on. You'll be so happy & so will your plants!

Welcome. I've been organic on my lawn for a number of years, but this is the 3d year being organic on my pastures. It's taken this long to really see the pastures improved. Don't get discouraged, and good luck.

:?: Could it be that it takes longer to see results in a pasture because of what is growing there and/or because of the amount of soil amendments used is comparatively less (per square foot) than on a typical yard?

:D Welcome to the natural way, dvande! This discussion board is full of great information. Glad to have you join us!
