Does anybody have an organic way to keep these pests out of my garden? They dig up everything.

Jack Russell terriers are organic as well as clever and fast. They will even bring you the evidence that they are earning their keep.

A BB-gun is about as organic as you can get, don't aim to kill, just aim to piss off.Other than that I would try maybe mountain lion urine from gun shops or something with HOT PEPPER in it will work.

I have an American Staffordshire Terrier who also keeps the squirrels at bay. She catches about one a year, that's enough to scare them off the rest of the time. Alas, she also loves to eat green tomatoes, so I have my garden beside and in front of the house, while the dogs stay in back.

Be careful what you wish for. My dogs would be harder on my garden than the squirrels (it's my own fault--I was playing fetch with the pit bull with a green tomato, and she happily ate it after our game.)

Here she is, "smiling" at the tomato. Seriously--she smiles at us.
