Are you talking about a spray of water with a few drops of liquid soap or canola oil? |

Thanks for the reply. Could be, just looking for ways to save money. I wondered what was in the commercial plant wash that I could duplicate. Finally was able last week to speak to Howard and this is what he recomended. For insect control: soap and water for aphids. Use 1tsp to 1tbs per gallon. Lemon Joy with a touch of orange oil. Commercial product: developed using nano technology used as a cleaner by the Navy. Found it worked as a follage cleaner as well. |

I make a tea out of oleander leaves and the flowers that have started to wilt. I mix the oleanders with two good snorts of Shiner Bock some orange oil and some soap. Put all this into a clear jar ( I use an old pickle jar ) and let the sun do its thing. Seems to work good on any bug or critter. Make sure to wash any vegies before consumption. |
