Hi all,
Is it actually May in Denton Texas? Rainy weather is causing my roses to develop black spot. I don't know what the best course of action is while it is still raining and no end in sight. I have treated with garrett juice and baking soda, but I figured it just all gets washed off with the continual downpours. I hate to complain about rain, but my roses have never had this problem before.

It will go away when things dry out. Even my antique roses, which rarely gets black spot, has it cause of the rain. When you know it'll be dry for a few days, just spray the leaves with either garrett juice or Bioform, which is my fav.

Thanks, I am relatively new at being a total organic gardener and the support here is greatly appreciated! Enjoy your roses! D

Sure...it's seaweed and fish emulsion. I heard that Home Depot carries it now in the organic section but I buy all my organics at Redentas at Skillman and Oram in Dallas.
