I'm new to the arena of organics but I'm giving it a go - i've just put out my first 8'x'8 garden and did it "by the book" as Howard suggested - its going gang-busters - but what I noticed today was that little ants are busy making a home in my new pretty garden and then i noticed them in my violets as well ... i'm not sure what they are or how to get rid of them? I'm stuck with this one - any and all help is appreciated

Congratulations on coming away from the dark side!

Where are you located?

Are they fire ants? Are the ants a problem, or is it just because they're ants that you're worried?

They'd are not fire ants - they crawled all over my hands and never a bite - I guess its just that they are present that im worried they are harmful to the garden. I havnt been able to find lady bugs to release in the garden yet.

Im in mesquite texas
