Post subject: | Brown Rot on Late Blooming Peach Tree |
Hi. I just bought a house with mature late blooming Peach trees. I know these trees have not been organic for at least 3 years. The trees are older than 3 years. I only know they have brown rot because I found some "mummies" hanging in the tree and on the ground. There are other fruit trees on the property and I don't want this to spread. Any suggestions on what to do would be appreciated. Thank you very much! - Emily in Fort Worth |

Soak at least a cup of ordinary corn meal in a 5-gallon bucket overnight and spray the trees with the water. Then recycle the corn meal into your compost pile or apply it directly under your roses or on the lawn. |
