Post subject: | Jasmine Ground Cover is dying |
I have a mysterious invader attacking my Jasmine in a couple of areas. Over the course of the last two years it has been steadily fading away and all I can figure is that I have some sort of insect or fungus involved. The root systems seem to be overwhelmed with a beige material that appears to prevent water from reaching the plant. The affected soil feels extremely light almost like I'm holding a piece of cork. I've taken some pictures and thought maybe you could help shed some light on what is behind this problem? Thanks for your help! Hopefully this will get read as it looks like there is a ton of spam on this forum today. |

Good pix. Thanks. That is a fungus of some kind. I would be hitting it heavily with ordinary corn meal and spraying milk on it. Give it 3 weeks and then look for improvement. |
