I have about 15 Io moth caterpillars grazing on a 7ft. redbud tree (trunk diameter is 3in). Can the redbud sustain itself through the grazing period or should I use Bt to inhibit the caterpillars' feeding? I could remove them, but know they have stinging spines. What's the best approach? |
