Does anybody have any thoughts on the Mosquito Magnet? Seems expensive, but my wife and youngest son can hardly go outside due to those pesky mosquitoes. Thanks |

Someone else brought this same question up today at the show in Arlington where Howard spoke. What he said was that they work to an extent but that they do not completely eliminate the mosquito population. However, The Mosquito Magnet does cut down on the mosquito population a great deal. I would invest in the "Liberty" and go from there. |

Last year I bought a Liberty model Mosquito Magnet. Yes, they are expensive but with every dead mosquito I find in the trap I think it's money well spent. I'm pleased with the results. The device does not eliminate mosquitos entirely but over time it reduces the mosquito population around my home. I think it's been effective enough and is certainly a preferable control method compared to toxic chemicals. Active elimination of mosquito breeding areas is a good control method as well but unfortunately my neighbors aren't as fastidious as I. The Mosquito Magnet helps control the mosquitos from sources off my property. |
