Can you go ahead and sow winter rye grass now here in north texas since it is wetter and cooler now? Thanks |

Sure! You can plant rye in cooler weather down to about the freezing temp of -40 degrees F, all over the world! Rye doesn't thrive well in temps above 85-90 degrees F for sure. |

I just got out of hospital last Sat or I would put out Marshall rye this next weekend. Normally I wait for Oct because of moisture. I want it in early to get more growth before frost. Hopefully I can get on tractor by Sept 15th. I also want clover in before the end of the month. Robert D Bard |
