We raise black brangus cattle in Mills County, Texas (central part of state). We do not want to use pesticides in the spraying of flies, lice and ticks. Does anyone know of a formula or product that will do the same job as the chemical ones sold at stores?

Don't know if it is made/sold in a huge container or not for spraying a large amount of animals, but we use EQyss spray on our horse (1) and donkeys (3) to help control flies and mosquitos around them while they are out in the field.

Our horse is calmer now than before we used it. She hates fly masks!

[]we have cattle too and a horse and I use a one gallon spray container and use orange oil mixed 2 oz. to 1 gal of water. I follow them around witht the pump sprayer until I get them all good underneith and wherever I can sray them. Seems to be working well. We live in Kerrville Texas, and the heat this year is horrid..not sure if the heat killed all the flies or the medina Orange oil.

We use the Alpaca & Llama Insect Spray for our alpacas that had lice and it keeps the flies and mosquitos off after shearing. Have used it on horses & it works great on dogs, cats too. And keeps chiggers off us!
Get it at www.alpacallama-insectspray.com

I assume these sprays are non-toxic, right??? We're looking for a non-toxic preparation to use on horses to keep the flies (and mosquitoes) off in the Kaufman, Texas area. Thanks- Melissa Miller
