Post subject:  lemon tree

I have a potted Frost Eureka lemon tree which was a Mother's Day gift. It is about 5 feet tall and is in a nursery pot. It has 5 huge green lemons and one small one. It is in a southwest room of windows and gets plenty of sun. I have no idea how to care for it, and have just tried to keep it moist and feed it Boiform about every two weeks. It needs repotting and appears to be too deep, but until the lemons ripen, I don't want to be moving it around. Now it has some spider mites on new foliage. Can someone tell me how to care for it and how to treat the spider mites indoors without a lot of mess? The new foliage is very pale green. Thank you for any help you can offer.
