I have a small peach orchard, and have never had this happen, but if I did, I would cut them off. We mow around our peach trees which probably explains the lack of this problem here

My peach tree is sending up suckers off of the lateral roots out beyond the drip line. What causes this, and should I leave or take out the suckers? |
