I have about fifty tomato plants. One of the plants is literally covered in aphids. I have been using the garlic pepper tea, Garret juice and so far nothing has helped. Any suggestions.

If I sprayed them with a strong force of water would that spread them to the other plants? I do have a lot of lady bugs on that plant, but I don't think there are enough of them.

Also, what are potato bugs doing on my tomato plants? I have been squishing all the ones that I find. I don't have any potato plants in my garden.

Thanks to all of you who give me your suggestions. I have learned so much by being on this web site.

If you've got a lot of lady bugs on the plant I wouldn't be spraying anything at all. They will get to them all, I assure you. Also since ladybugs aren't the only things that eat aphids, you'll probably be seeing more beneficials arrive as well. As for the other, who knows? They more than likely have tastes for other plants as well as potatoes.
