Post subject: | Cauliflower leaves |
I have heard Howard say, and have read, that cauliflower leaves are edible. How are they used? In salads, or are there any recipes where they can be used as a side dish? I have not found any information on the use of auliflower leaves anywhere and would appreciate any help. I can't see throwing them all in the compost pile when there is an edible use for them. |

In Howard's Organic Vegetable Gardening book he does indicate that the leaves are edible and that you should harvest the tender greens (leaves) anytime. I would assume you'd use them like you would any kind of salad greens. |
