The vinegar will benefit the soil after it has killed the weeds and is diluted into the soil. After all, it is part of the Garrett Juice mixture (much weaker). Be very careful to keep the spray from drifting onto desirable plants!

The 10% or 20% vinegar you use to kill weeds is non-selective. It kills or injures any growing plant you spray although some tougher ones come back.
