Post subject:  burmuda grass in vegetable garden

Any ideas on how to rid my vegetable garden of burmuda grass? Last spring I had to mow between rows! How pathetic is that? I tried spraying
with 20% vinegar with orange oil, but this became too expensive as my garden is rather large. What can I do ? I actually have more problems with the grass than with weeds.
Thanks,
Kathy

Sorry to tell you this, but digging it all out is the best solution.

This is the best way I learned so far:

Get one of those flat edged shovels with a good sharp edge. Dig out sections at least 3 inches deep and more if you can. Throw these in the compost pile or on an area that needs more dirt & grass!

Fill in with good garden mix - compost, cornmeal, greensand, etc. and to stop grass & weeds from coming in, keep mulch on the ground where you don't have plants. It will save you a lot of frustration and anger in the long run!
