Looking for plant suggestions for the following area:
- location: northern suburb of Dallas, TX
- two concrete pots, approx. 14" diameter, 13" tall, on front porch
- mostly western exposure - very hot sun in PM!
- porch is covered, i.e., no natural rainfall and shade until afternoon
- filled pots are too heavy to move and have no place to give them better protection, so need some cold tolerance as well
Would like a perennial, 2'-3' tall, fairly narrow, upright habit. Does not need to bloom, but would like something that looks good year-round.
