I have a rose plant that has buds that are not blooming. Does anyone have any information on what might be the cause? Ken |

Is your rose inside or outside? Large or mini? My minis are still blooming but my large roses stopped weeks ago. You might try a foliar feed with seaweed & compost tea. Have you fertilized lately? It might just be the weather. Some rose species won't bloom if it's not hot enough. They'll save the energy for a time when they have a better chance of the blooms procreating. In any case, roses LOVE cornmeal feed so a cup or so at its feet will make it happy and get it ready for winter, and it might just make the blooms pop out too! Kathe |

i don't know your weather where you are. i have roses now, early dec. that have many buds but are not going to bloom because of temps at night that are too cool. i don't perceive that as a rose problem, but typical of roses in the fall with unpredictable weather. bj |
