I put in three Carolina Jesseman's about 15' apart. One is doing splendidly; one is dying; the other is dead. No apparent reason; all get the same water, care, and are planted about the same.

Should I try to replace the dying/dead one next year? Or should I go with something else.

Previous pleas for help resulted in no real helpful hints. I applied the seaweed, but it seemed to hasten the demise of the one.

have you taken a super-close look at the dead one to see if you see any tiny webbing, especially on the backside of the leaves?

There's no apparent insect or webworm infestation, and the dead one and healthy one were beginning to grow together. I applied the garlic tea mix at one point and green sand at another. Earlier, I tried putting in some acid--that was when the leaves began to yellow. Quite frustrating, as the healthy one is doing splendidly.
