I put in three Carolina Jesseman's about 15' apart. One is doing splendidly; one is dying; the other is dead. No apparent reason; all get the same water, care, and are planted about the same. Should I try to replace the dying/dead one next year? Or should I go with something else. Previous pleas for help resulted in no real helpful hints. I applied the seaweed, but it seemed to hasten the demise of the one. |

have you taken a super-close look at the dead one to see if you see any tiny webbing, especially on the backside of the leaves? |

There's no apparent insect or webworm infestation, and the dead one and healthy one were beginning to grow together. I applied the garlic tea mix at one point and green sand at another. Earlier, I tried putting in some acid--that was when the leaves began to yellow. Quite frustrating, as the healthy one is doing splendidly. |
