One of my two potted Bougainvilleas is losing leaves. First the blooms dropped off starting about two weeks ago, and suddenly the leaves started dropping while still green. Assume this could be because of suddenly cooler nights, but the other one is not affected, though it does get a little more light.

They should be in full sun. Let it dry out completely before watering it deeply.

Not sure what it is about my bougainvillea's this year, but the OTHER one which was still throwing off new blooms suddenly was attacked by something which caused the leaves to brown and fall off in a matter of 2-3 days max!!! Looks like something mites could do, but so fast. Leaves gone, but many blooms still attached. Sprayed with "Eight" insect control, but to no avail. :(
