Spderwort has taken over my strawberry bed; with its 3 - 5 or more fingered roots, I find it very difficult to dig up completely. The spiderwort is now popping up in the front yard, and trying to get a start in the vegie gardens. Because of its deep root structure, I don't think spraying with vinegar will work. Am I wrong? Any other itdeas to help me remove this lovely wildflower that I don't want? Zippy

Won't know about vinegar til you try it. It probably will work. Be sure to protect your surrounding grass or plants.
