Since this is an organic site, you will not see anyone recommending Scott for your lawn. I am looking for the Organic Lawn FAQ post and will come back to your message and post a link. Meanwhile, I would recommend you read through some of the posts already here for some information.

The organic lawn care faq used to be a sticky here at the top of this forum but one of the administrators decided that the moderators were not handling stickies properly so it got released to drift around in the mist. As you can tell, I'm still not happy about that.

St Augustine in Duncanville huh. Have patience and keep it moist on a weekly basis and the grass will grow back where you killed it.

Don't put any iron on it until you answer the questions below. If anything you need greensand and possibly ORGANIC fertilizer.

Lawn care is too easy not to do it yourself. That way you know exactly what has been done so you don't have to be guessing what to do next. It is as easy as watering and mowing once a week and fertilizing on the federal holidays (like yesterday).

How much rain have you gotten this season?
How often do you water it and how much?
How high do you mow it?
What weeds did you have?
