I am ready to apply corn meal at the rate of 20 lbs per 1,000 square feet to my St. Augustine lawn. What spreaders setting would I use with my Scotts Deluxe Edge Guard broadcast spreader? Thank you!

You will have to calibrate the spreader yourself. Put 2 pounds into the spreader and measure off 100 square feet (10x10 feet). Set the spreader to wide open. Walk the stuff out and see how much you have left over. Then you will have to figure it out from your observations. With my drop spreader I had to leave it wide open and go over it twice to get 15 pounds per 1,000.
